Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address or Sign in with Apple identifier. You can also use AIsle without an account; we then use an anonymous ID.
• Profile and preferences. Your name, delivery address, phone number, household size, budget, diet, and allergies, which you enter so AIsle can plan meals and fill in checkout.
• Location. Your location, when you allow it, to show nearby stores. If you turn on store alerts, iOS tells AIsle when you arrive at a store you’ve chosen. We don’t track your location in the background otherwise.
• Shopping data. Your lists, orders, meal plans, pantry items, price watches, and photos of receipts you scan.
• Health data. If you set up Health, the stats you enter (such as height, birth year, goals, and conditions) and, with your permission, data from Apple Health such as steps, active energy, weight, glucose, blood pressure, and the food you log.
• Store connections. When you connect a store, an access token from that store, encrypted at rest. For stores without a direct connection, the browser session you sign in to yourself. We store the last four digits of the card your store has on file so you can confirm which card will be charged.
• Voice and chat. What you say or type to Ask AIsle, so it can respond and take actions you request.

What we never collect

• Your store password. You sign in to your store yourself in a secure window.
• Your full card number, expiration date, or security code. AIsle’s agent is built to refuse to type card details, and checkout uses the card you saved at your store.

How we use it

• To show deals, build meal plans and lists, track your pantry, and send the alerts you turn on.
• To fill your cart and check out at your store when you ask, stopping for your approval before any order is placed.
• To set nutrition targets and steer meal suggestions toward food that fits your health goals.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

We don’t sell personal information, don’t share it for advertising, and don’t use Apple Health data for anything other than the health features you’ve turned on.

Who we share it with

We share only what each service needs to do its job for you:

• Supabase hosts our database and servers.
• OpenAI powers meal planning, receipt and food-photo reading, and voice. It receives the content of those requests, not your account identity, and doesn’t use it to train models.
• Browserbase runs the secure cloud browser the agent uses to shop at your store.
• Your grocery store (for example Kroger) receives your cart and order, as it would if you shopped yourself.
• Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central receive barcodes and food searches to look up nutrition.
• Apple and Expo deliver push notifications.

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the safety of our users.

Your household

If you join a household, its members can see and edit the shared list and pantry. Health limits are shared with your household’s meal plans only if you turn that on.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your data while you have an account. You can disconnect a store or stop sharing Apple Health data at any time, and you can delete your account from Profile. Deleting your account removes your profile, lists, orders, pantry, health data, and store connections from our systems. Data AIsle wrote to Apple Health stays in Apple Health, where you control it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and store tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to your data is restricted to your account by row-level security in our database.

Children

AIsle is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we’ll tell you in the app before they take effect.
